Harmony North Chorus, a dynamic group of women singers based in Collingwood, has been together for 18 years. Under the wonderful leadership of director, Catherine Robertson, they learn and perform the art of a cappella singing, and love to entertain. Team manager, Karen Porter, states: “Our mandate is to celebrate the promotion of musical education and personal growth opportunities in a supportive and caring environment. We are committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.”

They are now preparing for their upcoming 17th annual Spring Fling Fashion Show. It is being held in Thornbury on May 17th at the Beaver Valley Community Center. There will be great fashions from Gaia of Thornbury, Dovetail Interiors of Nottawa, and Northern Reflections of Collingwood. Tickets are $20 and available at participating stores, from chorus members, or by calling 519-599-5999. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7.

“Our members not only will be singing at this event, they will be the models for the 3 stores we are featuring, and they are going to provide delicious, decadent desserts for you to enjoy” states director, Catherine Robertson. “This is a fun-filled event that will feature all the newest spring fashions, as well as a program filled with music, refreshments, door prizes and of course food. Come out and have a fun, entertaining evening with Harmony North Chorus. We are looking forward to seeing you there.”
