Calling all entrepreneurs in South Georgian Bay!
The Town of Collingwood is pleased to announce that CBC’s Dragons’ Den will be coming to town on February 25th. We challenge you to bring your best idea forward, and represent the impressive business spirit of South Georgian Bay.
Producers from the hit CBC show will be at Blue Mountain Resort on Wednesday, February 25th from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Blue Mountain Inn building, located at 110 Jozo Weider Boulevard.
Creative thinkers and inventive minds are encouraged to apply online for an in-person audition at cbc.ca/dragonsden/auditions. Brush up that idea you’ve had in the back of your mind, because now is the time to show case your ingenuity, originality, and innovative personality.
The Business Development Centre (BDC) invites all interested members of the public to make an appointment to discuss their winning ideas and business plans. The BDC offers many free services, including one-on-one business counseling, mentoring, and other invaluable resources. Whether you’re writing the business plan for your start-up company, or are looking for next steps to grow your business, the BDC has the support you need. For more information, stop by 105 Hurontario Street, or visit collingwood.ca/BDC.
When Dragons’ Den visited South Georgian Bay in 2011, Collingwood business owner Dr. John Miller, along with two other local dentists, took up the challenge with the Powerdent Pulse Denture Brush, a product that impressed all five Dragons. Dr. Miller said the experience was surreal.
