The Magic of Children in the Arts is a well-loved event with a 22-year history of encouraging creativity, celebrating the arts and building self-esteem in the young minds of children living in Collingwood and Clearview Township. Did you know that it is the largest children’s art exhibition in Canada? This is something for all of us to be proud of!

Over 700 children will be participating this year aged 4-13 years old. We are continually working to increase our impact in the community, strengthen the benefits for children and enhance local arts & culture. Every child receives a prize package of art materials for something outstanding in their artwork.

Magic of Children in the ArtsWe had an amazing year in 2015 with our 21st Annual event. I hope you had a chance to see the exhibition of over 700 art works last year including the giant sculpture installation in the Collingwood Public Library. One thing is very clear: thousands of children in Collingwood and Clearview have great memories about our event and feel that they have benefited from our program.

Our organization brings together a diverse cross-section of business owners, educators, parents, art patrons, and service groups and volunteers that realize investing in their neighborhood supports a healthy and growing community. We thank you for considering a donation and are looking forward to our 2016 event. The show will run for two months at the Collingwood Public Library from March 4-April 28. All activities take place at the Collingwood Library.
