FRIDAY JULY 29 – ALYSHA BRILLA      2015 Juno Nominee and U.K Songwriting Contest winner Alysha Brilla is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer and yoga instructor. She is Tanzanian-Canadian of the Indian diaspora. Her second full length album “Womyn” was released Sept 2014 and the title track was CBC Radio Song Of The Week. She plays guitar, piano and djembe, creating a unique original soul-folk sound which has been featured on stages internationally. WOMYN is the follow up to her Juno Nominated debut album, “In My Head”. The music video for her Swahili-infused song, “Nobody”, won the 2013 Ibiza Music Video Festival Fan Choice Award. CaitlinGaleSpecial guest – CAITLIN GALE  is a singer/songwriter/musician who combines acoustic guitar with a soulful and original voice. She plays a wide variety of covers from classic rock to Top 40 with her own take on each song, as well as performing her own original songs. You’ll find with her original pieces, there’s always a deeper message in her lyrics as she writes about hard topics that aren’t always discussed. She plays at various different locations, from bars/pubs across Ontario, music festivals, resorts, and concert halls. You can find her music on YouTube and her Facebook Fan Page under ‘Caitlin Gale’. The Friday Night Indie Series is the perfect way to kick off your summer weekend. Each Friday, all summer long from 7-9pm find many of Canada’s finest touring artists on the Coca-Cola Stage in the centre of the Blue Mountain Village. Be sure to come early to catch the warm up bands starting at 6pm.

The events plaza provides Muskoka chairs or listen in from any of the many patios close by including Rusty’s, Fire Hall Pizza, C&A Steak Company, MJ Byrne’s and Copper Blues. Wherever you sit you can be sure to say “I saw them first at Blue Mountain Village.”
