Small World CD coming to iTunes May 1st, 2017

Romanian-born jazz vocalist Monica Chapman has released two critically acclaimed albums, “But Beautiful” ( 2013) and “P.S. I Love You!” ( 2015) and has since been heard worldwide on BBC, CBC’s TONIC, Fresh-Air and The Sunday Edition, Jazz.FM 91 and worldwide. She made her debut before enthusiastic audiences at “Birdland” and “The Salon” a few years ago in New York and currently sings in major jazz clubs in Toronto and the G.T.A. to full houses and has participated in the T.D. Jazz festival over the past three years. Amongst some of the top venues she sings at are: “Jazz Bistro”, “Home Smith Bar”( At the Old Mill, Toronto), Lula Lounge and Manhattans Music Club in Guelph. She will be having a CD Release Concert at the acclaimed “Jazz Bistro, SUN. JUNE 4th with a band of all-stars!
 
 
Monica is excited to be releasing her third album titled “Small World”, produced once again by the iconic Bill King with world-class renowned musicians, featuring Kevin Turcotte-trumpet, Reg Schwager – guitar and Mike Murley – alto saxophone.
 
The pre-release date is April 23rd when her new album will be available and the official release May 1st on iTunes and Amazon and all major digital outlets!
 
Monica released a Christmas single, “Baby It’s Cold Outside” to very enthusiastic reviews and was featured on the BBC, CBC’s TONIC and worldwide and a music video also recorded on her new CD sung in Spanish and filmed in Kensington Market, Toronto , titled “Piel Canela” and received over 1,000 views on youtube in the first 3 days of it’s release!
 
Monica’s  CD RELEASE CONCERT will be at the acclaimed JAZZ BISTRO in Toronto, SUN. JUNE 4th at 7p.m. Reservations highly recommended.
