Lots to do during March Break at Collingwood Public Library

 

If you’re looking for ways to keep your kids and teens busy during March Break week (March 14-20), come to Collingwood Public Library for fun-filled activities, crafts, and events.

 

“March Break at the library is going to be incredible,” says Ashley Kulchycki, Supervisor of Children’s and Teens Services. “We have an exciting lineup of programs, including returning favourites like The Great Collingwood Paper Airplane Competition, and exciting new events like Library Mini Golf for both kids and teens. There is something for everyone and all programs are free!”

 

Events for children include:

·         Take Home Story Time Kits – starting Monday, March 7 (as long as kits last)

·         ‘I Spy’ Challenge – Saturday, March 12 to Sunday, March 20

·         ‘The Dot’ Collection – Saturday, March 12 to Sunday, March 20

·         Robot Story Time – Monday, March 14 at 10:30 a.m.

·         Create Your Own Photo Wreath – Monday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.

·         The Great Collingwood Paper Airplane Competition – Tuesday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m.

·         Library Mini Golf – Thursday, March 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon

·         Easter Story Time – Friday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m.

 

For teens:

·         Create Your Own Photo Wreath – Monday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.

·         Interview Skills – Tuesday, March 15 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

·         Teen Open Mic – Wednesday, March 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

·         Library Mini Golf – Thursday, March 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon

·         Nail Art & DIY Temporary Tattoos – Friday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m.

·         Board Game Tournament – Saturday, March 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

·         Teen Knit Club – Sunday, March 20 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
